Artist Biography

Hi, I’m Em. I am a mixed media artist. I work mainly through painting, illustration and photography. Often combining all three to create colourful visual compositions.

In my practice, I am particularly drawn to architectural and natural spaces and how they can be transformed using colour and collage composition. My work often features vibrant blocks of colour alongside intricate architectural details to create compositions that mix observation and abstraction. I am interested in how architecture and spaces can convey emotion and personal experience, and how I can communicate this in my work.
